Egis to monitor two HSR lines

The French company Egis has been awarded a contract by the Egyptian National Authority for Tunnels (NAT) to monitor two new high-speed rail (HSR) lines. This project is being carried out in collaboration with the French engineering firm SYSTRA and is part of the 2,000 km long rail network in Egypt. The passenger rail transport and rail freight transport lines are the blue line from Cairo to Abu Simbel and the red line from Safage to Qena. The two lines have a total length of 1,325 km and include 39 stations. The consortium's tasks consist of coordinating planning, project management, and construction supervision.
