The Spanish state railway Renfe will establish a new branch in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) under the Renfe Proyectos Internacionales business line. The decision is based on a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in May 2022 between Renfe and the UAE's state railway company, Etihad Rail, which covers cooperation on infrastructure projects in the UAE.
