On 27th October 2023, Thor Gjermund Eriksen started as CEO of Norwegian infrastructure operator Bane NOR. Eriksen took over the position of CEO from Gorm Frimannslund and came from the position of CEO of Norsk Tipping. At the same time, Bettina Sandvin started her new position as Development Director at Bane NOR. She has been in place as Stine Undrum's successor since her resignation in spring 2023, reports directly to Eriksen and is part of Bane NOR's management team. Sandvin, who originally joined Bane NOR from the Norwegian Public Roads Administration, is responsible for 550 employees and a portfolio of 129 projects across the country worth around €22.9 billion (NOK 270 billion).
